Which national parks can we visit in Croatia with a gulet?

When cruising and exploring the beauty of Croatia, the national parks will come in front of you. You won’t be able to ignore them because of their beauty and uniqueness.

Croatia has:

  • 8 National parks,
  • 2 strict reserves,
  • 11 nature parks

All national parks are worth seeing. Each of them offers you something else, a new, magical and beautiful experience.

KORNATI ISLANDS

During your cruising in Croatia you can reach:

  • Krka National Park,
  • Kornati National Park,
  • Mljet National Park.

Depends:

  • which route you decide to take
  • how much time you have
  • where your embarking and disembarking is
  • Krka N.P.

It is a beautiful island archipelago, close to Šibenik. The best way to visit it is to sail through. If you are impressed with waterfalls, the Krka is a must to see.

You can actually swim in waterfalls or take a beautiful walk around. Walking paths are easy to navigate and point out the area’s history and wildlife.

NATIONAL PARK KRKA

LINDA

The price can be from 4€ to 27€ per person.

It is better to visit off-season, avoid the crowds, and have a chance to jump in the water.

  • Kornati N.P.

Our favorite destination. It is a stunning national park that includes 89 islands, islets and reefs. It is THE SPOT for snorkeling, swimming, or diving. The top destination to organize diving activities.

But if you are just looking for tranquil nature and perfect scenery, you will also find it here.

SWIM STOP

It is a national park that is not allowed to visit by yourself unless you have a boat. And there are very strict rules of what is allowed and what is not.

You should plan your route in such a way to find the time and stop here.

Cruising through the Kornati, you need to purchase a permit. The price depends on the size of your gulet and it can be from 200€ to 1000 per gulet.

  • Mljet

It is a perfect place for those who want relaxation. It covers one-third of the island Mljet and is known by two saltwater lakes. During the winter, those lakes are much colder than the sea and much warmer during the summer. The reason for this lies in the nature of lakes.

It is a hidden gem perfect for swimming, kayaking, hiking, or cycling.

There is a fascinating island of St. Mary featuring the Benedictine monastery, now turned into a coffee place. Apart from the historic place, the park is also known for its myths and legends of Odysseus.

They are also known for exquisite wine, olives, and cheese. The price per person is from 10€ to 16€.

Each National park is unique. Whichever you decide to go, your customer support is here to help you with all the information you would need.
