What kind of languages speaks the crew on Greece gulets?
On gulets in Greece, you won’t have a problem with English.
Most of the crew in general speak good English. Maybe not grammatically correct, but good enough to have a decent conversation.
On some luxury gulets they also speak several more languages. They might speak German, Italian or French.
In general, in Greece people speak English. They start learning it at school and they are in contact with English all the time.
Even when you will be exploring cities and islands, you shouldn’t get yourself in trouble because of language.
English is their first foreign language and they do speak English pretty well. Especially in tourist destinations, you won’t have any problems communicating. Or the destinations where our gules cruise, like Zakynthos, Mykonos, Rhodos, Santorini…
But if you get into some more remote places or remote Greek villages you might encounter some difficulties. And if you know some basic Greek phrases it will come in handy.
Also on your gulet the crew will be excited if you show some interest in their language and learn a phrase or two.
