Do you need to pay extra to enter National parks in Croatia?

Yes. These are the Croatian national beauties, that need to be extra paid to see.

Croatia can pride herself on 8 different national parks.

  • Brijuni, Kornati, Krka Waterfalls, Mljet, Paklenica, Plitvice Lakes, Risnjak, and North Velebit.

Separate institutions manage each park. All together are funded and overseen by the government and State institute of Natural Protection.

Croatia is a natural beauty with a memorable landscape and unforgettable scenery. It has something for everyone to enjoy. National parks are something that will simply take your breath away.

KORNATI ISLANDS

You will find a diverse fauna and flora and each of them is unique for its beauty.
In some national parks, guides will take you swimming, hiking, fishing, scuba diving, cycling. Or you will just be one with nature.

Some of those national parks are reached only as an extra land trip.

It is an extra charge if your gulet overnights there or cruise inside. The prices need to be checked every year because they change.

It depends on:

  • the length and the size of your gulet,
  • the time you are planning to stay in there,
  • the season you are cruising.

NATIONAL PARK KRKA

It can change as well if your captain knows the guards very well. Spring and fall seasons are usually cheaper as summer, of course, the busiest time to visit.

The parks are really spectacular to see and we always suggest you make a stop there.

They are worth visiting and exploring and they should be on your travel bucket list.

Croatia is so much more than just a beach. You will be amazed at how much natural beauty is hiding and secrets treasures to discover.
