Apart from these they also produce very high-quality honey and olive oil that you can purchase as a souvenir. Feel free to wander around the small streets and visit the Folk and Art Museum. BUTTERFLY-VALLEY
  • Butterfly Valley

This is a quiet forested valley where you can have a pleasant walk through the shadows of the trees. It is also a valley where one type of butterflies come every year to close their life cycle. The butterflies are red and black molted, seen only when they open their wings and the whole scenery is magical. Once you visit this place you will feel like you entered some kind of fairytale.

However, you shouldn’t disrupt the butterflies by making a noise, which unfortunately many tourists do to see them in their full beauty. So if you plan to visit this place you should be mindful of noise pollution that could be causing drastic seasonal reduction of butterflies.
