What Beverage packages can we choose from?
On gulets in Turkey you can choose between:
- DELUXE FOOD MENU or
- STANDARD FOOD MENU.
The difference is only with food, while the beverage option is the same. In both packages, local nonalcoholic drinks are included, while imported and alcohol drinks need to be paid extra.
DELUXE and STANDARD package includes all domestic soft drinks. In both packages alcoholic drinks need to be ordered and paid extra.
How you organize your payment of your beverages are two possibilities:
- A.P.A (Advance Provisional Allowance)
It is very convenient, if you like to have some specific drinks on your gulet and you can let the captain take care of it.
Not all gulets offer this option. In case you like this, please check with your sales expert and he will advise you to book the perfect gulet for your cruise.
You pay A.P.A always in advance. It also depends on your gulet how much A.P.A is high and also what exactly is covering. It can be from 7.000€ to 25% of your charter fee. It’s an amount that covers the costs of your extras.
It covers your:
- Beverages,
- Activities,
- Port taxes for Marinas.
You can choose as much beverages as you want and whatever you want to drink. In case the budget deficits, you add more money to A.P.A. amount and in case not everything is spent, you get it back at the end of your cruise.
Since not all gulets offer A.P.A., the other possibility is:
- Pre-order the beverages for your cruise.
It is the most common option in Turkey. Meaning, we send you the list of available drinks for your gulet cruise, where you mark the quantity and variety. The prices are local supermarket prices and we take care, everything is on board before you start cruising.
This way you are certain, you won’t be missing a thing. When you are in the Finalizing process before your cruise, we send you the beverage order and you pay at the check-in procedure.
THE CREW
Whatever option you choose, is important that you realize the crew is part of your cruising team. They are allowed to use your NON ALCOHOLIC beverages and you don’t keep them thirsty. There is no extra charge for a corkage fee, but don’t leave the crew out.
